About the Role:

We are seeking a hospitality-driven Floor Manager to join our NYC Clubhouse team. This leadership role is essential to maintaining our elevated member experience and supporting the rapid growth in in-person engagement. You’ll serve as the right hand to the Clubhouse Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, managing events, and providing hands-on support to our dynamic team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the main liaison between the Clubhouse Manager, Community Manager and Local Ops team, ensuring smooth daily operations and cross-functional coordination.

  • Build strong relationships with members to create a welcoming and personalized Clubhouse experience.

  • Co-lead day-of operations for Clubhouse events and Meeting Room bookings, ensuring flawless execution and a premium member experience.

  • Supervise and coach Clubhouse team members across all functions ensuring alignment with Chief’s culture, policies, and hospitality standards.

  • Train new and current staff on Clubhouse responsibilities, behavioral expectations, safety protocols, and operating procedures.

  • Manage scheduling for hourly staff and oversee shift coverage, especially during PTO, sick days, or overlapping events.

  • Partner with the Clubhouse Manager and Experience team to enhance programming, member experience, and operational support for Chief Events.

  • Oversee upkeep, repairs, and minor refurbishments to maintain a high standard of Clubhouse facilities.

  • Handle member feedback and day-of issues with a solutions-oriented mindset, escalating to the Clubhouse Manager when necessary.

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Clubhouse SOPs, policies, and systems to support scalability and operational excellence.

What You’ve Done and Enjoy Doing:

  • Previous experience in hospitality a plus

  • Ability to be in the clubhouse 5 days/week, flexible with schedule as it may shift or change to support events at the clubhouse

  • Project management - ability to deliver consistently across deadlines

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with external vendors, partnerships and members

  • Experience managing large teams

  • Proactive self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

The base salary for this role is: $80,000
