About the Role:
The Programming Manager is a highly organized and motivated role that will support the Programming and Partnerships team at Chief. This role is pivotal in ensuring our members receive consistent, best-in-class programming on critical topics executives are navigating on a day to day basis.

Reporting into the Senior Director of Events, Programming & Partnerships, this role will be a key contributor and provides essential support across programming, helping to deliver impactful and engaging experiences for Chief’s community.
What You’ll Do:
Research topics and speakers that can provide cutting-edge content for Chief members
Source speakers and execute monthly virtual programming, overseeing the experience, including outreach, contract negotiation, speaker prep and event recaps.
Collaborate and coordinate with the community team to define relevant topics and source relevant speakers who align with each event’s programming goals,
Develop and enforce project timelines, ensuring alignment with all marketing and event deadlines for speaker promotion, briefs, and creative asset delivery.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, working closely with events managers, producers, and speaker teams to deliver seamless execution of all programming.
Research and develop questions for interviews and panels both in-person and virtual.
Support the Programming & Partnerships team to develop content and curate speakers for ChiefX Summits, VIP Experiences, Industry Events, and Partnership activations
Own satisfaction metrics for events and regularly refine topics, structure, and format to best support members.
Coordinate crossfunctionally to ensure all topics programmed at Chief are complementary and deliver a well-rounded member experience (including but not limited to Virtual Programming, IRL Programming, Summits, Partnership Events, Core, and Courses))
Oversee operational efficiencies, ensuring the database and master calendars are consistently accurate and up to date.
Work with Chief brand partners to ideate on their organization’s executives fit for Chief speaking opportunities.
Provide on-site support at select events across the country, offering hands-on support for programming, partnerships, and speaker engagements, while driving real-time issue resolution.
What You’ve Done and Enjoy Doing:
Curious, with a pulse on top topics in business, culture, brands, and trends in events; you consume the news each day, subscribe to a number of professional newsletters, and are no stranger to deep research spirals on Wikipedia, YouTube, podcasts, blogs, and more.
Experience in programming with a high-achieving and/or executive population
A strong network leveraging innovative channels to source compelling speakers
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
Self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive, always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks
Willing to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings due to the variable events schedule
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products is a must
Knowledge of Zoom, Airtable, Slack, Salesforce, and Notion are a plus

The base salary for this role is: $110,000
Chief participates in the E-Verify Program in certain locations, as required by law.
