About Charm
Our mission is to reverse climate change and return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂, profitably. We convert waste biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and inject it into permanent, underground storage as carbon removal, or reform the bio-oil to produce syngas for fossil-free steel.
Our carbon removal pathway took off in 2020 with initial purchases from customers like Stripe, Shopify & Microsoft. In 2021 and 2022 we delivered thousands of tons of carbon removal via off-the-shelf pathways, and also deployed our first R&D prototype pyrolyzer of our own. In the next 18 months, we'll build and deploy the next pyrolyzer revision, demonstrate our fossil-free ironmaking pilot, substantially expand our operations in Colorado and put thousands of tonnes of CO₂e underground.

About this role
- Plan workplace strategy / expansion to support growth and provide support to onboarding of new employees.
- Manage a growing team of Facilities Managers and Technicians across multiple locations.
- Continue to build a best-in-class safety team, tools, and culture that help protect all Charmers across the company.
- Oversee outsourced IT and networking support to ensure streamlined access and experience across all locations.
- Help us keep our workplace safe, clean, and productive for all Charmers.
- Ensure continued regulatory compliance for all locations across multiple states.
- Select, schedule, oversee, and manage contractor work at all facilities including office builds and growing R&D requirements (electrical, specialized spaces, etc.).
- Manage shipping and receiving.
- Oversee inventory management of chemicals and raw materials.
- Develop and lead training programs for onsite machinery for new employees.
- Purchase and distribute office supplies, first aid, groceries, and daily lunches to enable our team to stay happy and productive.
- Support new employee onboarding through equipment provisioning and training facilitation.
You Bring
- Experience managing multiple teams across several locations (experience in a rapid growth environment is a plus).
- A strong foundation in safety best practices and maintaining permitting and regulations across multiple states.
- Ability and willingness to travel to all of our sites and future deployments as we continue to improve all of our existing facilities.
- Demonstrated capability to execute multi-contractor projects on schedule.
- Desire to wear multiple hats with an organized, efficient working style.
- Have a proactive, professional and “can do” attitude.
- Passionate about contributing to our mission and growing the company.
Bonus, if you Bring
- Experience in safety role in the manufacturing or chemical sector
- Inventory and/or strong ERP experience
- Prior logistics (consistent shipping and receiving) oversight
- Past management of locations with 24/7 operations
What we offer
- The anticipated salary range is $180K - $210K, dependent on factors such as experience within the job, within the industry, education, location, etc.
