Manager of Care Operations

Chamber Cardio – Better care for all of our hearts.

About Chamber

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in America. At Chamber, we’re rebuilding the system for cardiology, creating a world where outcomes, not volume, define success. We partner with independent cardiologists to help them lead population health efforts in their communities, equipping them with technology, data, and operational tools that turn complex insights into better care for every patient.

Our model blends clinical expertise, thoughtful design, and a modern operating platform that supports physicians, patients, and payers alike. We believe innovation and empathy go hand in hand, and that by combining cutting-edge AI tools with a relentless focus on human care, we can transform heart health at scale.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Manager of Operations to lead and scale Chamber’s Care Team — the heart of how members experience our programs. You’ll directly manage the care team, build scalable systems and workflows, and ensure that every member interaction is seamless, compassionate, and effective.

You’ll work cross-functionally with our Provider Network, Product, Clinical, and Payer Growth teams to align operational excellence with our broader strategy. This is a hands-on role for a leader who loves building from the ground up, thrives in ambiguity, and sees technology — especially AI — as a force multiplier for human impact.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Hire and manage all care team members.

  • Oversee daily care operations, ensuring care team goals, workflows, and expectations are clearly defined and consistently met.

  • Build scalable systems and feedback loops that maintain quality while improving speed and efficiency.

  • Implement quality assurance and performance improvement programs to ensure consistency across teams.

Technological Leadership

  • Introduce and operationalize technology that simplifies processes and empowers staff.

  • Manager vendor partnerships (including contract management).

  • Ensure AI tools are used at all appropriate points in the care process.

Payer & Partner Collaboration

  • Partner with our Implementation team to translate payer contracts into actionable workflows, ensuring we can execute effectively and track performance against key metrics.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for member experience and service delivery, providing visibility into performance and improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure that all payer-specific programming SLAs are met.

What You’ll Achieve in Your First 90 Days

  • Recruit and onboard key Care Team roles to ensure the right structure, capacity, and leadership coverage for live operations.

  • Establish clear operating standards for member experience, documentation, and care delivery — setting the baseline that future scaling and automation will build upon.

  • Stand up several live care programs within Chamber’s systems, integrating technology, workflows, and cross-functional inputs to deliver measurable impact from day one.

Requirements

  • 4-10+ years of experience in healthcare.

  • Strongly prefer some operations management experience, but not required.

  • A strong desire to learn new things, lead a team of people, and work to deliver clear outcomes.

  • Deep interest in process flows and continuous improvement.

  • Comfort with technology and a curiosity about AI and automation, with the ability to bridge human and digital workflows.

  • Analytical thinker who uses data to make decisions and measure impact.

  • Strong communicator and collaborator who can align diverse teams toward shared goals.

  • Passionate about improving outcomes for cardiology patients and providers.

Chamber Values

Our values guide how we lead, collaborate, and care:

  • Low Ego: We stay grounded, curious, and open to feedback.

  • Empathy: We build trust through compassion and thoughtful communication.

  • Courage: We take action, think critically, and challenge ideas respectfully.

  • Ownership: We follow through with integrity and hold ourselves to high standards.

  • Grit: We push through ambiguity, move with urgency, and solve hard problems with horsepower and heart.

Location

Remote or hybrid options available. Periodic travel to practice sites or Chamber offices may be required.
