As we embark on our journey to revolutionize cardiovascular healthcare, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the head of Engineering.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Engineering leader to spearhead our product development efforts and lead our rapidly growing software engineering team. As the senior-most engineering leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product architecture and managing all aspects of software development. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of cardiovascular health and value-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Architecture: In partnership with our Head of Product, define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for our cardiovascular health and value-based care solutions.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

• Hiring: Attract top engineering talent and make strategic hiring decisions to scale the team effectively.

• Software Development: Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software products.

• Remote Team Management: Lead and manage remote engineering teams effectively, fostering strong communication and collaboration.

• Cloud Expertise: Leverage your AWS cloud expertise to optimize infrastructure, scalability, and performance.

• CI / CD : Implement and maintain Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines to streamline development and delivery of our products.

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience

• Proven track record leading the development of modern health tech software and platform offerings.

• Early-stage startup experience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong knowledge of the challenges and best practices associated with SaaS and B2B software development.

• Expertise in managing and motivating remote engineering teams.

• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, particularly HL7 / FHIR.

• Experience evaluating and working with healthcare vendors • Understanding of healthtech compliance requirements and audits (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2).
