About The Role
The Office Manager (Full-time) will be responsible for helping to set up and run Chalk’s workplace. You will play a critical role within the organization by helping the company to operate seamlessly and supporting the team to reach peak performance. This is your opportunity to join us in-person as an early employee and make a visible impact at a high growth start-up.
We work in-person Monday through Friday in our NY office. We don’t currently offer remote or hybrid positions.

Compensation
Chalk offers early team members a generous salary + equity package based on experience and competitive benefits.
Actual compensation awarded to successful candidates will be based on several factors, including but not limited to: market, location, scope of the position and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

What You Will Do
- Must be available to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Open the office each morning and make sure we’re ready to kick off the day
- Greet visitors, interview candidates, and customers
- Keep the office stocked with supplies, meals, snacks, drinks and everything we need to keep our team happy and operating at a high level
- Select vendors, negotiate contracts, and onboard new suppliers
- Plan team events and offsites
- Assist with administrative tasks, scheduling, and general support for Chalk’s Co-Founders
- Additional opportunity to take on other operational roles at the company based on experience
