About the role
Reporting to the CEO, our first developer advocate will help developers learn about Chalk and understand the best ways to integrate Machine Learning Infrastructure. You will focus on engaging and supporting the MLOps community. This is your opportunity to join us in-person as an early employee and make a significant impact at a high-growth start-up.
What you will do
- Write blog posts and other technical content for Chalk users and prospective users
- Connect with like-minded developers and educate them about Chalk’s platform
- Engage the developer community through online channels
- Represent Chalk at developer conferences, events, and hackathons
- Be a point of contact and become an expert in ML infrastructure
- Create presentations, videos, and demos
What we’re looking for
- Professional experience as a software, data, or machine learning engineer
- Understanding of Machine Learning Ops/Infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Python, bonus points: interest in Rust or C++
- Experience in the open-source community and community building
- Experience with public speaking
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals and groups
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
