As a Staff SDET, you’ll play a key role in helping design and build the testing infrastructure and process for the systems that run and scale our products to meet the demands of the business. If you want to drive the overall quality of our platform with a collaborative team that is passionate about client experience, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- First and foremost, you’ll be enabling testing of our highly scalable and reliable platform services, components and user interfaces that compose the CertifyOS Platform architecture
- Designing and building effective testing processes to support scrum teams in testing for a rapidly-growing business at a massive scale
- Developing and implementing strong testing automation for solving improving product quality in a high-volume, high-availability environment
- Pushing the envelope on what's possible and applying pragmatic approaches to testing
- Take ownership to drive the quality of complete platform features
- Own the metrics and reporting for quality across the platform
- Vigilantly monitor and improve product quality
- Find opportunities for continuous improvements to our system and testing methodologies
- Continuously look for ways to optimize and streamline the CertifyOS Platform layer to facilitate a seamless experience for our clients
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years automating large-scale enterprise testing systems
- Experience with testing automation and tool sets
- Experience in test plan creation and implementation
- Experience testing distributed data systems using distributed file systems, NodeJS, Typescript, and React and cloud technology
- Understanding for JIRA administration and reporting including integration to BI tools, like BigQuery
- Understanding of performance and profiling techniques of complex systems is a plus
- Embracive culture of alerting and monitoring
- Aware of ISO standards and security best practices
- Familiarity deploying applications using containers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience testing against NoSQL databases, relational databases, and Cloud Data Warehouses (Firestore, Spanner, and BigQuery preferred)
- Experience with a microservices architecture
- Experience scaling to large volumes of data and API usage
- Experience working with PII
