This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a blend of time at our newly refurbished office in Southampton and remote work from home. Enjoy flexible working hours, with options available from 9am to 6pm or 8am to 5pm.

What you’ll be doing:

• Efficient Vehicle Procurement: Acquire vehicles through diverse online platforms using digital tools and data analytics.
• Digital Partnership Management: Cultivate relationships with vendors and online auction platforms for smooth transactions.
• Data-Driven Buying: Collaborate to maximise data utilisation, aligning online sales with insights and strategies.
• Collaborative Optimization: Work closely with the team to optimise volume, quality, margin, and stock turnover.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure purchased vehicles meet strict online specifications, minimising returns and refurbishment costs.
• Innovative Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing the digital purchasing model.
• Exemplary Team Player: Demonstrate professionalism, respect, inclusivity, and collaboration within the digital buying team.

What We're Looking For:

• Digital Proficiency: Mastery in utilising digital tools, including Google Sheets, Excel, Looker, and online platforms for seamless data analysis, reporting, and online negotiations.
• Automotive knowledge: While prior automotive experience is not mandatory, possessing knowledge of car specifications and online vehicle preparation is advantageous.
• Online Negotiation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively using data and leveraging current market conditions in the online space to secure favourable deals.
• Team Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent teamwork and communication skills, both written and online, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Digital Adaptability: Comfortable working at a rapid pace, meeting multiple online deadlines with ease in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
