Job Summary:

The purpose of the QC & Inspections Team leader is to support the Manager across shifts, to organise, coordinate all QC/Inspection activities at the site under the direction of the Quality Control and Inspections Manager.

• Hours: Full Time 40.25 Hours per week MON-SUN (5/5/4 Shift Pattern)

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead a team in order to carry out QC work and vehicle inspections according to customer specified standards.
• Ensure utilisation of the Cazoo reporting suite, focussing on Inspection and refurbishment cycle time, refurbishment quality, re-work and cost per unit.
• Oversee and ensure all QC/Inspection related operations across the shift comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.
• Monitor Quality/Inspector Specialists standards and guide where necessary.
• Oversee all areas of the Operation to ensure the repair processes are carried out effectively, promptly and to a high standard.
• Review procedures, processes and service levels with a view to improving the standards
• Ensure that company stock and assets are correctly maintained and accounted for.
• Ensure all staff are trained and developed to suit their needs, develop personal growth and skills.
• Ensure health and safety standards are complied with.
• Delegate appropriately.

Required skills experience:

• Previous bodyshop or vehicle repair methodology experience is essential, as is an awareness of QC and vehicle inspection appraisal.
• Knowledge of Retail standard requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with colleagues.
• The ability to make timely, informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints and risks.
• The ability to identify, manage, exceed targets and grow the business.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
