Job Summary:

Working as a Technical SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the technical SEO strategy, maintaining technical excellence and identifying optimisation opportunities to help grow our organic visibility across Cazoo.co.uk.

Reporting into the Head of Digital, you will be helping to grow organic visibility across Cazoo assets within a team of Organic Performance professionals. You will be focused on website analysis, delivering insightful technical SEO commentary and work closely with product and engineering to implement best-in-class technical SEO across our properties.

This diverse role in a fast-paced working environment will require you to be adaptable, learn fast and be proactive in helping your team-mates wherever possible. The role will inevitably lead you to collaborate with stakeholders from across the business so clear and decisive communication and being comfortable and confident talking about technical SEO will be an important factor in helping you succeed in this role.

About this role and the impact you will have:

  • Working with the teams to create the Technical Organic Performance strategy for Cazoo.co.uk.
  • Conducting technical SEO audits to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Crawl and log file analysis.
  • Ensuring technical SEO best practice across cazoo.co.uk.
  • Reviewing competitor technical SEO activity.
  • Making on-site optimisations through the CMS.
  • Working closely with the Organic Performance strategy manager and wider team initiatives.
  • Provide technical SEO insight in meetings and internal comms.
  • Communicating technical SEO activity to stakeholders.
  • Working with product and engineering teams to deploy SEO recommendations.

We’re looking for some with:

  • Extensive experience in using SEO software (DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog) for analysis.
  • Comfortable in using BI software (GA360, Pi Datametrics, GSC, Looker etc.) to make informed data-led decisions.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Experience conducting in-depth technical audits.
  • Keen eye for detail and proactive approach to problem solving.
