Cazoo will become one of the leading volume buyers of used car stock in the UK. This role is therefore pivotal in guaranteeing that our cars’ end to end processes are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

You will be responsible for the number of vehicles we have on our website. You will work with stakeholders including operations, production, data and many more to get accurate updates on the state of our inventory to drive our published numbers on the website. You will be pivotal in driving Inventory SLAs across the business owning the performance of our inventory before it is listed on our website.

We’re looking for a smart, experienced and enthusiastic Inventory Specialist, to join Cazoo. The role will be based at our Northampton Customer Centre, helping to build the UK’s best used car buying selling experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure we are meeting our daily, monthly, and quarterly KPIs
  • Working with stakeholders to clean up inventory
  • Driving process changes improvements where necessary
  • Work alongside your team the wider business to improve the day to day running of our operations with the aim to publish more vehicles faster
  • Interpreting making sense of large sets of data with a keen eye for detail
  • Work with on site stakeholders at our preparation sites and customer collect centres to support our vehicle publishing process
  • Ensuring vehicle locations and states are accurate
  • Alongside your team, drive the focus on inventory numbers and SLAs
  • Utilise the systems at our disposal to quickly identify any issues problem solve where necessary
  • Understand our end to end processes to drive positive trends and streamlining initiatives
  • You will be expected to travel across a number of Cazoo Prep Sites Customer Centres to understand process challenges

Key skills required

  • Feel comfortable interpreting data patterns and trends
  • Be able to quickly pick up new tools and systems
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be data driven with a real eye for detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Be able to manage your own time, and stakeholder expectations
  • Be confident driving processes across multiple departments
  • Inquisitive by nature with a desire to drive efficiencies
  • Be confident working independently, but with strong teamwork skills

Job Summary

  • Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum based on experience
  • Location: Northampton, United Kingdom
  • Hours:Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. Hybrid working.
