Client Community Director - Consumer

Our internal Client Community team consists of driven, sales-focused professionals dedicated to sparking business growth, nurturing strategic partnerships, and unlocking new opportunities for our clients in the Consumer space (i.e. CPG, Retail, etc.).
As a Client Community Director at Catalant, focused on our Consumer community, you will lead a dynamic team of Client Partners and Associates, driving the formation of lasting partnerships with top executives in our target markets. Your leadership will be pivotal in aligning our clients with Catalant's network of experts and teams, ensuring that they harness the full potential of our solutions to achieve their business objectives.In this role, you will have complete ownership of strategic planning and top-line results within your segment, positioning you as a key player in Catalant's growth strategy. What You'll Do:

  • Craft comprehensive growth strategies for the Consumer territory and target customer accounts that align Catalant’s strengths with customer needs/trends.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business development activities making adjustments as needed to ensure the team exceeds quota.Identify high-potential accounts and prioritize them based on strategic importance and potential revenue.
  • Support team in developing tailored outreach plans for each named account, leveraging market insights and client-specific data.Coach Client Partners (i.e., Account Executives) on most effective approaches and tactics in client meetings.
  • Participate in client meetings for high-priority customers and large potential opportunities to support from discovery to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Client Partners and Associates to vet and identify experts that best meet client requirements.
  • Own relationship with a number of senior Experts in the Catalant community who specialize in your industry of focus.
  • Help form and nurture a Community Board of top experts and clients within the Consumer industry.
  • Partner with the Catalant team and Catalant experts to develop and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and other documentation that drive project approval.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs for the team and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Regularly review sales performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to review progress and provide feedback.
  • Identify training needs and work with cross functional stakeholders to ensure the upleveling of the skills and capabilities for your team.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among team members to ensure cohesive and efficient execution from lead generation to contract signatures.
  • Identify and establish connections with leading industry experts who can provide valuable insights and influence.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with select client executives through regular communication and engagement.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in sales
  • Experience in Professional Services or Consulting
  • Experience in CPG and/or Retail preferred
  • Graduate degree preferred but not required
  • Leadership experience, and experience successfully managing and coaching a team
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong business development background, ability to create executive and C-level relationships, successful track record of selling and implementing large-scale projects and a history of thought leadership on industry trends.
  • Expertly capable of building successful pipeline and book of business
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to engage clients at all levels
  • Passion for helping business professionals solve their complex business problems
  • Thrive in a highly-entrepreneurial, dynamic, and demanding environment
