Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device.
We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where they invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences.

Role Responsibilities
As our Founding Recruiter, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and scale our recruiting function from the ground up. You'll work directly with leadership to define and execute our talent strategy, with a primary focus on attracting exceptional research scientists and software engineers who will form the backbone of our technical organization.While technical recruiting will be your main focus, you'll also have the opportunity to support our growth across GTM and other business functions as we scale.
What You'll Do
Partner with technical and business leadership to deeply understand our hiring needs and craft targeted recruiting strategies, with primary focus on research and engineering roles
Secure top talent for our growing research engineering, software engineering and GTM teams
Create and implement full cycle recruiting processes by sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates
Recommend and drive improvements to scale recruiting workflows
Develop exceptional candidate experience by ensuring smooth, transparent and timely process
Establish metrics and analytics to measure recruiting effectiveness and continuously improve our processes
Collaborate with leadership to refine our employer brand and value proposition
What You'll Bring
5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a proven track record of hiring ML/AI researchers and software engineers for highly technical companies
Strong track record of successfully closing senior technical candidates in competitive markets
Experience building recruiting processes and programs from scratch
Excellent relationship building skills with candidates and external hiring managers
Data-driven approach to recruiting with experience establishing and tracking meaningful metrics
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple searches simultaneously
Experience partnering with technical leadership and understanding complex technical requirements
Nice-to-Haves
Experience hiring for GTM and other business functions
Experience scaling a recruiting function from 0 to 1 at an early stage startup
