Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device.
We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences.

Role responsibilities
We're hiring a Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute our product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and competitive differentiation. As a key member of our early team, you will shape how we communicate our technical capabilities and value proposition to developers, enterprises, and the broader market.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute our product positioning and messaging strategy, ensuring our technical differentiation resonates with both technical and business audiences
Drive market and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation
Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions and use cases
Create high-impact product marketing materials including documentation, case studies, product pages, and technical content
Support product launches and feature releases by developing compelling messaging, content, and enablement materials
Establish processes for gathering and synthesizing customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis
You'll have significant impact in shaping how we position and market Cartesia's AI capabilities to developers and enterprises.
What we're looking for
4+ years of product marketing experience with a proven track record of marketing technical products
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex AI/ML concepts and translate them for different audiences
Experience marketing to developers and technical decision-makers
Track record of developing compelling positioning and messaging in competitive markets
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and sales teams

Self-sufficient and excel at wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment
Nice-to-haves
Experience marketing AI/ML products or developer tools
Background in computer science or related technical field
Early-stage startup experience (seed to Series B)
Experience with API products or ML model platforms
