As a Car Buying Specialist at Carma, you’d be joining a fun, onsite team in our vibrant Alexandria, Sydney office. You’ll be one of the trusted first points of contact for customers looking to sell us their car. With warm leads coming in via phone and email, your role is all about qualifying vehicles, negotiating offers, and helping us source the best possible stock!

What you'll be doing:

Pick up the phone, connect with sellers, qualify their vehicle, and explain our simple process
Request key details like service history, condition, and photos
Negotiate pricing with confidence and clarity, you’ll be trained on valuation tools!
Keep your pipeline on track, follow up, stay organised, and manage multiple leads
Coordinate inspections and guide each deal through to final payment
Spot cross-sell opportunities and promote our retail stock to sellers who might also be buyers
Work onsite in our office, surrounded by a fast-paced, high-energy team

Okay, let's talk about you

At least 12 months of sales experience, phone-based or automotive is a bonus!
Confident communicator who knows how to negotiate and build rapport
Comfortable picking up new tech and systems (Hubspot experience = a plus!)
Process-driven with strong attention to detail, nothing slips through the cracks
Commercial mindset, you’re curious about valuation, sourcing, and deal-making
You thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and take feedback in stride
You’re flexible and open to working shifts outside regular business hours, including some weekends.
Based in Sydney and happy to work onsite at our Alexandria office (parking + public transport nearby)
