Looking to kickstart your HR career or grow your current skills? Join our growing People Experience team at Carma on a 6 month contract! As our People Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to for all things HR admin, onboarding, and hiring support. From being the face of onboarding for new starters, to managing the shared team inbox and getting hands-on in all areas of HR - no two days will be the same!

What you'll be doing:
- Own the new starter experience at Carma - be the friendly face that welcomes new hires on day one
- Keep the team on-track and organised, everything from maintain records, contracts, compliance and general admin
- Support the talent acquisition team with the hiring process - scheduling interviews, welcoming candidates and ensure the hiring process ticks along smoothly
- Assist with offboarding - handling the details so that exits from the business are just as smooth as arrivals
- Learn and get exposed to different sorts of meetings from new starter check ins, exit interview, performance reviews and investigations
- Spot opportunities to improve our processes and create some magic in implementing those changes and improving efficiency in the team
Okay, let’s talk about you:
- A proactive mindset - you take initiative and run with tasks
- You’re a confident communication - you’re comfortable chatting with people at all levels, from running small meetings through to one-on-one catch ups
- You have a knack for organisation - spreadsheets, systems and details are you thing.
- You have the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast moving environment
- You’re eager to learn and grow your skills and career and open minded to jump into all sorts of different things
- You have completed (or are in the process of completing) a degree in HR, business, psychology or a related field. Or alternatively you have very relevant experience.
Please note this is a full time position, offered on an initial 6 month contract with potential opportunities for extension, based in our Head Office in Alexandria, Sydney.
