Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic?Senior Project Manager?to lead the delivery of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives. This role is responsible for managing complex projects from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and agile best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills, along with a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead one or more large, complex projects with multiple communication channels and high visibility across the organization.

  • Define and maintain project scope, objectives, and deliverables by translating business, clinical, or technical requirements into actionable plans within Capital Rx’s agile framework.

  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts as well as cross functional parties from sales, operations, compliance, product, scrum team, and others to identify project needs and dependencies.

  • Interact daily with product manager and scrum teams with effective and efficient communications to ensure proper tracking of project roadmap and hold all project team members accountable for accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.?

  • Serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

  • Mentor and provide oversight to Associate Project Managers and junior team members, supporting their development and performance.

Communication & Risk Management

  • Maintain open and consistent communication with all stakeholders and executive leadership through regular updates, dashboards and presentations.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; present mitigation strategies and contingency plans in leadership and client meetings.

  • Represent the project in external client meetings, providing updates and managing expectations.

Process & Compliance Oversight

  • Establish and manage project tracking systems and tools (e.g., Jira) to support agile workflows and task execution.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Continuously improve project management processes by incorporating feedback and lessons learned.

  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.

A Successful Contributor has:

  • Extensive experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and compliance-driven environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence without authority, and drive strategic outcomes.

  • A growth mindset with intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and detail-oriented problem solver with an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment and collaborate in a team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

  • PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or health tech environments is highly desirable.

Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
