About the Role

As a Print Strategy & Ops Lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing Canva Print’s strategies across the business - owning ideas from initial conception to execution. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Print team to shape the strategic direction and performance of key business areas for Canva Print.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Print leadership to operationalize one of Canva’s strategic bets

  • Evaluate and evolve core operating systems - including product launch, partner onboarding, SKU expansion, and international rollout - to ensure they scale effectively
  • Build scalable playbooks and frameworks that enable speed without sacrificing quality or customer experience (e.g., partner onboarding, collaboration with global teams)
  • Lead high-impact cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
  • Establish metrics and dashboards to track operational readiness, launch quality, and business performance
  • Drive strategy, analysis, and execution of other key strategic areas within Canva Print
  • Deep dive into the critical drivers of the business and analyze performance of existing programs, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Deeply understand the business and competitive landscape; Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new print technologies, and best practices to continuously evolve the print strategy.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years experience in management consulting, business strategy or operations, investment banking, venture capital, and/or private equity
  • Strategic, first principles thinker - Ability to take end-to-end ownership of large, ambiguous problems and break them down into clear, actionable plans
  • Data-driven and analytical - Strong problem-solver who can break down problems and diagnose root causes. Uses data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Track record of successfully executing strategies and recommendations - Can operationalize strategy into plans and execution.
  • Operational, practical, and results-driven - Ability to develop actionable plans that are grounded in real-world practicality, ensuring strategies are not only innovative but also feasible and aligned with operational capabilities.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment - Strong communicator who is able to work and drive alignment across all levels and teams.
  • Hands on & humble - Humble and scrappy. Enjoys digging into the data and details and being a player coach when needed.
