Payments and Fraud Operations Analyst
Canva
Job Description
About the Team
The Revenue Platform group is part of Canva’s Growth org, responsible for supercharging Canva’s product-led growth engine. We design and run the systems that let anyone, anywhere, pay for Canva in ways that feel simple, safe, and local.
Within Revenue Platform, the Payments & Fraud subgroup turns payment ideas into reliable, repeatable operations – from global cards to local payment methods (LPMs) – so users can check out with confidence while we protect Canva’s revenue.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Payments and Fraud Operations Analyst to build the backbone of how Payments & Fraud onboards vendors, develops and executes on compliance processes, documents how payment methods work, and keeps our knowledge fresh and self-serve.
This is a hands-on, program-shaping role: you’ll be in the weeds on vendor onboarding, payment method launches and optimisations, pulling together the right people, information, and decisions, then turning them into clear, reusable knowledge for the rest of the team.
What you'll do
Run vendor onboarding, KYC and recurring compliance activities across Payments & Fraud, and keep Finance, Legal, Procurement, Compliance and our payment providers in the loop.
Look after vendor access provisioning and User Access Reviews for our payment gateways and methods, working with IT and tools like Okta, Lumos and Pengy to keep things secure and reliable.
Help us launch local payment methods (LPMs) faster by smoothing out onboarding, access and documentation so new launches feel repeatable instead of one-off projects.
Build and maintain a central payments knowledge base that explains how our payment methods work end to end, with clear navigation, ownership and simple “how it works” pages.
Keep internal documentation and CHT help content in sync through regular reviews and basic freshness checks.
Use lightweight data and dashboards to spot issues, reduce “how does this work?” escalations and improve workflows, handoffs and SLAs over time.
Make payments knowledge easy to find and trust, so teammates can self-serve, new joiners ramp quickly, and you naturally become the go-to person for “how does this payment method work?” and “who can help with vendor access or compliance?”
What we're looking for
- Some experience in operations, service operations, payments or fintech.
- Foundational understanding of payments or e commerce concepts such as KYC, settlement, disputes, chargebacks, or payment errors, or strong curiosity to learn.
- Ability to communicate clearly turning complex ideas into clear documentations teams actually use. Technical or content writing is a bonus.
- Exposure to data or business analysis such as mapping processes, spotting edge cases, or clarifying requirements.
What you'll learn
Build hands on payments knowledge across multiple payment methods, providers, and regions.
Develop strong craft in knowledge systems and become a connector across Revenue Platform, Payments, Fraud, CHT, and partner teams.
Grow your impact as you help shape how the world pays for Canva, while enjoying flexible working, great campuses, and local benefits.
