About the Team

We’re looking for an experienced strategy and operations professional to join the Sales Operations team at Canva. This team partners with our Sales and Customer Success leaders and is responsible for driving the operations, analytics, and core sales processes behind our sales efforts.

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner focused on our sales teams in North America; looking at opportunities to advance the business’s go-to-market efforts side-by-side with senior leaders in sales.

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive quota design and management to ensure teams have clear, achievable, and motivating targets.

  • Propose and manage quarterly SPIFF programs that energize teams and celebrate success in the right ways.

  • Take ownership of T&E budget management.

  • Design and refine compensation structures that reward impact and fuel motivation.

  • Drive proactive and clear communication—sharing updates openly and anticipating questions before they’re asked, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like compensation and targets.

Most importantly, you’re someone who enjoys balancing strategy with action—rolling up your sleeves and finding solutions in ambiguity, while always keeping the bigger picture in sight.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring both technical excellence and a proactive, people-first approach:

  • Industry Knowledge: 6+ years of experience in a fast paced SaaS sales organization

  • Analytical expertise: Strong command of SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets for complex modeling, forecasting, and compensation design.

  • Proactive problem-solving: You think critically, anticipate challenges, and address them before they become roadblocks.

  • Clear communication: You build trust by being open, direct, and proactive—especially when communicating about targets, budgets, and compensation.

  • Systems thinking: You love building scalable processes that create clarity and efficiency across global teams.

  • Collaborative influence: You’re skilled at partnering with Sales, Finance, and Operations, bringing people along the journey with confidence and clarity.

  • Motivated by impact: You know that behind every number is a team, and you’re driven by helping them succeed.

What's in it for you?

The target salary range for this position is $140,000-$216,000. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
