Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design

Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora,你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time-consuming, and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to our hubs in San Francisco and Austin, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

As the Global Head of Business Marketing at Canva, you'll lead a dedicated business marketing organization, driving workplace adoption and expansion across organizations of all sizes. Working in close partnership with our Consumer Marketing organization, you'll build on our impressive foundation of over 200 million users worldwide and organic usage in 95% of Fortune 500 companies to accelerate our enterprise growth trajectory through Canva for Teams.

This pivotal role reports to both the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer, reflecting its strategic importance in driving both marketing excellence and our enterprise revenue goals. You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering Canva's business narrative across all touchpoints -- from marketing campaigns to customer retention, thought leadership, and brand presence in the enterprise space. This important role will lead our efforts to create customer engagement and demand at every step in the customer journey.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Own and drive Canva's narrative for businesses, ensuring we’re telling a consistent and compelling story across all channels, from marketing campaigns to sales materials and thought leadership.
  • Develop and execute long-term B2B marketing strategies aligned with both marketing objectives and commercial revenue goals.
  • Drive and own marketing-sourced pipeline targets that support broader revenue objectives.
  • Lead and grow a complex organization of ~50-100 people across multiple functions and geographies, and work effectively across all parts of the Canva organization to drive impact and achieve our goals
  • Build and manage a hybrid organization combining direct reports and matrix partnerships.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that embodies Canva's values while driving high performance.
  • Partner with Consumer Marketing to maintain brand consistency while developing distinct enterprise positioning.
  • Build strong relationships with product teams to influence the roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
  • Design, build, and orchestrate a comprehensive business marketing engine that drives predictable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Build scalable systems for campaign orchestration, lead management, and measurement.
  • Create repeatable processes that can scale globally while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Champion inclusion and team wellbeing.

You're probably a match if you have:

  • Proven Marketing leadership experience leading organizations of 50-100+ people.
  • Deep expertise in both demand generation and product marketing within B2B/enterprise contexts.
  • Track record of successfully driving marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Strong technical understanding of marketing technology, attribution modeling, and funnel optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing sophisticated marketing operations and measurement frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate complex product capabilities into compelling market positioning.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in collaborative, matrix environments.
  • Strong track record of cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Excellence in developing and mentoring marketing leaders.
