The Affinity Web Team is responsible for the primary sales channel for these apps. We sell to millions of customers worldwide, supporting different locales whilst ensuring a high standard of accessibility and user experience (UX) helping to ensure everyone can access our industry leading graphic design software.

Our mission is to continue to evolve our platform to become more secure, robust and scaleable to meet the increasing demand for Affinity software as well as working on new integrations touching many other departments such as Help & Support, Cloud Services and Marketing.

After becoming part of the Canva family, we’re now entering an exciting era of expansion and collaboration, requiring a new take on our current line up of services.

Job Description

As Affinity scales, change continues to be part of our DNA – we like to think that's all part of the fun though. We’ve provided a breakdown of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Working with our content designers, product experience specialists and community managers to ensure that our output on social media is fully optimised for each channel and strategically aligned with the audience on that platform
  • Collaborating with the localisation manager to ensure our social channels are truly local
  • Strategically planning and launching new social channels
  • Reporting on our social media growth and engagement
  • Social listening to understand sentiment on owned channels as well as community led platforms

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of social media experience across multiple platforms in multiple languages
  • Deep knowledge in social media algorithms and how to optimise content to maximise reach and engagement whilst understanding the need to stay on-brand
  • Full understanding of the digital landscape across channels, platforms and digital environments
  • Creatively minded with an expert understanding on content types and delivery mechanisms
  • Experience at working across complex cross-functional teams and agencies to build integrated campaigns
  • Strong understanding of brand measurement tools and how to measure and optimise campaigns
  • Excellent international experience with social media platforms and local nuance
  • Multiple languages would be a huge bonus
