Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Leading the people side of change. You'll identify the impact on people through change impact assessments, readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, and building a change enablement strategy that improves adoption and minimises resistance.
  • Making sure changes stick. You’ll use your storytelling skills to empower everyone with the ‘why’ and ‘what’s in it for me’ behind the change. You’ll develop and deliver compelling communication materials, stakeholder training & awareness strategies to drive and reinforce change.
  • Assessing organisational impact and readiness for each change initiative on a global, regional and country level.
  • Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change. You’ll define success metrics and use data to inform how we measure and enhance the effectiveness of change initiatives.

You're probably a match if

  • Your sweet spot is at the intersection of people, process, technology and change management.
  • You have proven experience in Change Management, Communications or HR supporting HR-focused change projects.
  • You have a passion for HR systems and technology transformation.
  • You're familiar with project management principles, approaches and tools.
  • You love storytelling and communicating through using visually impactful presentation and design skills.
  • You get a kick out of large implementation projects and problem-solving for scale.

About the team

Our People Technology Enablement team (PTE) act as the conduit between our broader People Group and our internal partners across IT, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Security to deliver on our People Technology goals. PTE partners with our People Systems team to centrally own and sequence our People tech roadmap, rallying everyone towards a big-picture, cross-team vision for our tech.
