Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

  • Owning the end-to-end process of scoping, designing and developing Sales Pipeline metrics, reporting and dashboards (including input into attribution models)
  • Ad-hoc and deep analysis to inform leadership of key Sales Pipeline trends and drivers
  • Partnering with Product, Marketing and Sales teams to understand levers of Sales Pipeline growth, providing input and recommendations to grow both topline pipeline as well as efficiency
  • Providing input into regular reporting cadences (e.g. forecasting calls, MBRs, QBRs) ensuring insights and recommendations are surfaced to help drive strategy
  • Owning projects, data models, dashboards, and other artifacts and keeping them up-to-date and of high quality in a hypergrowth environment
  • Hiring and coaching one analyst in the future

You're probably a match if

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in sales/marketing/GTM analytics roles, ideally within a Product Led Growth or Enterprise SaaS environment, having worked closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Finance teams
  • You have strong competency with Excel/Google Sheets and SQL; data wrangling and analysing data using Python or R is a plus!
  • You have strong data visualisation skills (Looker or Mode is preferred)
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written - be able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas. Stakeholder management skills are vital in this role
  • You are experienced with sales data sets and sales data tooling, including but not limited to: Salesforce, Outreach, Enrichment (Clearbit, People Data Labs) and sales finance data
  • You have a proven track record of leading delivery on complex sales and GTM projects, using data analysis and commercial insights to solve real business problems and drive projects to completion

About the team

At Canva, our mission is to empower the world to design. Our product has grown enormously in the last few years and we now have 100s of millions of users generating huge quantities of data every single day. Our product has historically been B2C-focused but we are scaling out our B2B team to set ourselves as the go-to Enterprise design product.

Sales Analytics is a new function, and part of our data organisation. You will be the first hire and will build and grow the team. Your mission is to develop and scale a world class Sales Analytics function, supporting and partnering with Canva’s leadership, Head of Sales, Head of Sales Ops, Head of B2B Marketing, providing analytical and data-driven insights. The team will provide recommendations and help drive initiatives and lay the foundations for scalable growth of the Canva Enterprise business.
