Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have a choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At Canva Print, we bring Canva designs into the real world. We’re an essential part of the Canva user experience with "Publish Anywhere" as our core mission pillar. Print is already a multi-million dollar product within Canva. It offers an incredible opportunity to work at a global scale on a product used by millions of users around the world. The Canva Print mission is to empower the world to print any design, allowing everyone to bring their designs to life in the physical world and communicate effectively. Our ambition is to provide the best-in-class ease of use and reliability that Canva is known for to print with hundreds of high-quality products that are affordable, that get delivered to your door surprisingly fast no matter where you are in the world with a strong focus on ethical and environmentally-friendly practices, like our One Print One Tree initiative.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • You will lead and coach a team of talented product managers within the Print group, contributing your craft expertise and leadership experience to help them develop, grow and achieve ambitious goals.
  • You will regularly review and refresh the vision, strategy and product roadmap for Canva Print through open and inclusive collaboration with the cross-functional leadership team.
  • Build a deep understanding of Canva Print’s competitive position in major markets and ensure we maintain a strong position that aligns with our growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with leaders in other groups, including broader company leadership, to facilitate goal alignment and ensure that the key needs of the Print business are met in a way that is responsive and adaptable to the needs of other groups.
  • Lead as a subject matter expert on the end-to-end user experience across key user segments within the Canva Print business and set priorities to continuously improve the core value and experience for users engaging with Canva Print.
  • Understand key company priorities and ensure the Print teams build products and experiences that contribute to Canva achieving it’s Crazy Big Goals.

What we’re looking for:

  • A seasoned Product leader with experience building high-performing and motivated teams behind great products loved by global audiences. You’ll bring experience from consumer businesses, preferably in the e-commerce domain.
  • You have a passion for creating delightful user experiences that contribute to sustained business growth.
  • You are comfortable leading with influence rather than authority.
  • You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lean into the detail when needed to drive towards successful project delivery.
  • You are naturally curious and seek to understand the context behind historical decisions and how they influence the decisions you are making today.
  • You inspire others to achieve their full potential and build strong, diverse and high performing teams.
  • You can speak to examples that demonstrate strong data literacy. You are accustomed to proactively seeking out and interpreting data, market insights, user research and cross-specialty input to make quick yet considered decisions.
