What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this project is focused on:
Canva’s SEO is world-class, and we’re looking for a passionate SEO Specialist Arabic Market ! You must be a native Arabic speaker, however, this role can be based in Germany , France, UK, Italy, Austria or Czech Republic. This is a 6-month project, 20 hours per week.
As a Country Lead for the Arabic Market (Egypt/UAE/Saudi Arabia), you’ll be supported by a mini-team, consisting of a Content Specialist and Link Builder. You'll be part of the exceptionally friendly and supportive EMEA SEO and Localisation team to help achieve our ambitious growth targets! You will be responsible for leading all aspects of SEO (technical/content/link building) across ar_AR pages on canva.com . You'll have access to a range of the best enterprise-level third-party tools, as well as several platforms and products we have built in-house that help us to world-class SEO. A large part of this will involve leading the localisation of new pages in the English section of the site and ensuring they are well-optimised for their target keywords. You will also be expected to maintain a high standard of 'technical hygiene' across your locale, as well as provide guidance to the Arabic link builder around the most important pages to build links to, and what strategies are likely to be successful.
