About Campus

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait.

At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily-researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. We were also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024.

We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others.

The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us!

About the team

The Student Affairs team provides services and resources across student communications, co-curricular programming, programs and events, community spaces, and student support. This includes orientation, student mentor programs, live events, alumni services, and more!

About the role

We are seeking a Student Support Coordinator who is passionate about student success, equity, and community well-being. This role plays a critical part in supporting students through complex situations while ensuring institutional policies and processes are applied fairly and consistently.

The Student Support Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for students in need of support, advocacy, and guidance, and works closely with internal partners to navigate conduct processes, accommodations, mental health, and other student support services. This role requires strong judgment, empathy, and the ability to balance student-centered care with clear boundaries and policy adherence. This role will collaborate with one other Student Support Coordinator.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own the student emergency fund process to ensure timely and equitable distribution of support.

  • Manage student support cases and help students navigate government assistance programs and applications, such as SNAP and related benefits, as well as connect students to community-based resources, including nonprofit organizations and local support services, to support short-term needs and long-term stability.

  • Uphold student accountability with care by managing student conduct cases, including investigations, hearings, and sanctions, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and enhancing practices that promote learning and growth.

  • Be a first responder for student well-being by connecting students in crisis to the right mental health resources, building a stronger network of support services, and ensuring timely referrals.

  • Oversee and facilitate the student grievance process, working to resolve complaints through mediation, policy clarification, and institutional advocacy.

  • Contribute to reporting and measurement that ensures compliance and requirements with governmental and accreditation institutions, provides actionable insights to improve the student experience and support services, and effectively conveys needed information across Campus departments.

  • Support with student community and communications moderation and curation. This may include crafting student messaging, ensuring our online student platform remains a safe digital space, and supporting student organizations.

  • Champion accessibility and equity by coordinating ADA / Title IX accommodations and ensuring compliance with disability regulations, working closely with faculty and staff to support students.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You’ve successfully advocated for student access and equity - whether through managing accommodations, handling student conduct, or leading inclusion initiatives.

  • You have a track record of handling complex student cases with professionalism, discretion, and a student-centered approach.

  • You confidently navigate challenging conversations - whether mediation disputes, guiding students through housing or food insecurity, or supporting mental health concerns.

  • You bring deep knowledge of higher education policies and compliance (ADA, FERPA, student conduct, Title IX) and know how to implement them effectively.

  • You’re a proactive problem solver who doesn’t just manage processes but actively improves them

  • You’re excited to partner with Coaches to navigate student support processes, providing guidance on policies, resources, and next steps to best support students.

  • You bring a thoughtful, patient approach to supporting students through complex processes like SNAP and other government benefits.

What you’ll get:

  • A compensation package that includes a base salary ($60,000 - $75,000) + equity grant

    • Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary will be localized.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) match

  • Fertility benefits via Carrot

  • Flexible Time Away + paid holidays

  • In-office lunches for our NY Office (did we mention, we’re dog friendly? 🐶)

  • Hybrid work schedule (Mon & Fri remote; Tues-Thurs in-office)
