CMT is looking for a collaborative, experienced Senior Project Manager, Continuous Improvement who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

We are seeking a project manager who excels at collaborating with internal stakeholders throughout the business to drive complex projects forward to completion. You will work cross-functionally to align teams on objectives, converting them into detailed project plans with clearly identified dependencies. You will coordinate all execution efforts across groups, ensuring that projects stay on track and blockers are removed. You will be responsible for reporting out on project status, providing clear communication and documentation for senior leadership.

This role is part of the Continuous Improvement Team and reports to the Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects, an ability to quickly get up to speed on technical areas, and will be able to drive projects to resolution. Excellent communication skills are a must. Office is located in Cambridge, MA and CMT offers a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal cross-functional groups to collaborate and execute effectively on key projects
  • Effectively influence stakeholders and teams to drive toward resolution
  • Understand company business goals and use them to evaluate which improvements to prioritize
  • Define project scope, detailed project plans, milestones, deliverables and schedules
  • Identify and manage blockers to keep projects on track
  • Manage project goals, requirements and scope for clarity and on-time delivery
  • Own project documentation and status reporting
  • Act as an advocate for organizational excellence at all levels of the company
  • Build strong connections with teams such as Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification
  • 4+ years of experience in project management
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with comprehensive listening skills
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to convert a high level goal into an actionable project and deliver results
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate, influence and constructively challenge
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action, capable of managing ambiguity
  • Ability to influence without authority, aligning peers to work toward a common goal
  • Proven experience delivering projects with complexity and multiple dependencies
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues
  • Able to get up to speed quickly on technical topics
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
  • Willing and able to work in person in our Cambridge office twice per week
