CMT is looking for a collaborative, people focused and detail oriented Compensation Analyst who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!
Responsibilities:
- Analyze results of compensation surveys and benchmarking reports
- Review a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the organization's remuneration policies are competitive, and contribute company data to compensation surveys, when appropriate
- Assists in the implementation, and administration of Job Architecture: job analysis, job matching, job leveling and job calibrations
- Ensures that compensation solutions are efficient, market driven, support business goals and strategies and are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies
- Benchmark best practices to ensure programs are current concerning trends, practices, company philosophy, and competitive environment to enhance recruitment and retention initiatives
- Assist with compensation administration (e.g. merit increase process, geographic wage differentials, salary structure, pay trend analysis etc.)
- Maintain an understanding of the external market; staying in tune with best practices, emerging trends, and the overall market in terms of Compensation & Total Rewards strategies
- Produce compensation resources, communications, and training materials to enhance team understanding of employee value proposition, policies and practices
- Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance of evolving Federal and state legislation
- Complete any additional tasks that arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of Compensation experience or experience in a related field, preferably within the tech industry
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, recognize and communicate trends, and develop material to present key data elements including via PowerPoint
- Excellent skills with Excel and Google Sheet formulas, models, graphs etc.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to assimilate and document information quickly
- Strong communication skills with an approachable presence in-person, over the phone,and in written communication
- Ability to connect and communicate human impact costs both quantitatively and qualitatively
