CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative sales director who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Responsibilities:

  • Be the strategic business consultant and advisor to our customers and target accounts in Latin America.
  • Use independent judgment and discretion to elicit prospects’ and customers’ business, functional and technical requirements and translate them into business solutions
  • Understand and address prospect and customer questions and objections
  • Show the value of our market-leading mobile telematics and big data analytics solutions
  • Qualify and advance opportunities while being a wise steward of company resources
  • Negotiate and close contracts that result in predictable, committed revenue
  • Develop, communicate and execute account and opportunity plans
  • Create and deliver accurate forecasts
  • Be the “voice of the market” and contribute to marketing and product strategy
  • Be an authority on usage based insurance, big data, telematics, mobile technology and driver behavior
  • Be an authority on competitor offerings and identify their strengths and weaknesses
  • Ensure customers succeed post-sale and grow our business with them
  • Regularly travel to customer sites nationally and internationally as required
  • Complete any additional tasks as they arise

Qualifications:

  • Experience
    • 5+ years as an enterprise sales executive (SaaS, big data preferred)
    • Selling $500K ARR deals
    • Track record of exceeding sales targets and performance at top 5% of peers
    • Managing complex sales cycles
    • Closing net-new business
    • Proficient with enterprise Implementation methodologies
    • BA or BS degree
    • Any of these are plusses, but not required
    • Start-up experience
    • Selling into the property insurance industry
    • Authorized to work in Argentina or Brazil
  • Skills
    • Unimpeachable verbal, written and visual communication (incl. whiteboard, powerpoint)
    • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
    • Value and Solution Selling (vs. transactional selling)
    • Tailor your approach and engage many different audiences and seniority levels
    • Open new accounts and advance them to close despite obstacles
    • Ask the hard questions and listen actively
    • Master both business issues and technology
    • Negotiate outcomes that that benefit customers and company
    • Entrepreneurial ability to create processes and tools where none exist
    • Skill with Salesforce.com and other sales productivity tools
