Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality assurance, scalability, stability, and performance of our applications under various load conditions. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to design, develop, and execute quality automation testing and performance testing strategies that drive product excellence. In this role, you will drive significant impact on customer experience and team performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Product testing strategies for web, API, and backend systems.
  • Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate test outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Quality test framework is developed and maintained by QA team
  • Design the framework to assist QA schedule to be in line with the development cycle.
  • Provide deep knowledge and guidance to the team.
  • Experienced in mentoring small scrum team, driving execution and ensuring high-quality architectural decisions.
  • Thoughtfully challenge and drive improvements to existing processes, focusing on high quality standards, increasing efficiency, code quality, and overall product health.
  • Make a broad technical impact that extends across the entire engineering team, not just within a single subsystem or project.
  • Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Contribute to technical documentation (design docs, API documentation, release notes).
  • Proactively evaluate, recommend, and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to keep the quality engineering stack current and competitive.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ years of total experience, at least 3 years of commercial Software Quality Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of QA, Performance testing and QA test architecture.
  • Experience in cloud-native API and microservices Quality assurance.
  • Experience with enterprise Test frameworks and automation
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-system integrations and testing.
  • Strong background in agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Good understanding of integration patterns (pub/sub, webhook, ETL, etc.).
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
