SALARY: $110,000 - $140,000 + 100% OF COMMISSION

ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Account Director of growth at Brainly, you will join a small team that is eager to drive new business. Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue with clients by providing digital solutions that help them reach their goals and build their business and brands.
This role requires a growth mindset, persuasive interactions and consistent follow-up with clients. You’ll be asked to tap into your knowledge of digital and programmatic to utilize your proven sales skills, and to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams to close deals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop sales strategies that leverage Brainly’s audience and digital ad products to drive scalable business solutions
Directly set up sales calls, meetings and presentations to meet quarterly targets
Develop new and existing client partnerships at all levels of agencies and client partners
Prospect, including the ability to qualify and close new accounts
Work with sales and market leadership on sales strategy and execution and build RFP volume
Manage a sales pipeline with timely and accurate forecasting
Be proactive with partners consistently bringing them solutions-oriented products to meet their business challenges
Manage the proposal and media plan process, ensuring highly relevant and creative solutions for partners
Work closely with your senior management to manage internal revenue expectations and forecasting
Provide market feedback on pricing, products and market trends
Work with Brainly global market leaders on identifying new business opportunities
Research competitive spending, creative assets and buying trends in the US media landscape
WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
5+ years experience in Sales or Sales Development roles
Experience in and proven track record of partnering with brands and selling into agencies
Experience at a leading publisher, technology or social media platform
Experience building scalable partnerships in key categories
Experience with direct media sales process, CRM, and prospecting tools
Understanding of ad technology and ed technology ecosystem
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets through discovering, prospecting, creating new business and growing and retaining existing business
Self-motivated and excellent time management skills
Strong negotiation skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency or client
Strong virtual and in-person presentation skills
MS and Google suites
Keen ability to listen, ask meaningful questions & provide a consultative selling approach
Well-connected within the media agency ecosystem
Willingness to travel as necessary
