About Bolna
Bolna is a Voice AI platform built for enterprises. We let businesses deploy multilingual, human-like voice agents that handle inbound and outbound calls at scale, across recruitment, support, operations, and collections, without the overhead of building and managing large human agent teams.
Under the hood, we dynamically route every call across the best ASR, LLM, and TTS models by language, latency, and cost. The result: real conversations, at real scale, for real businesses.
We're early. We're moving fast. And we're building something that's visibly changing how enterprises operate.
What this role is about
New categories don't get built on product roadmaps alone. They get built in rooms. In the conversation between a buyer and a builder who realise they're solving the same problem. In the trust that forms when a partner decides you're worth going to market with. In a group of people who keep showing up because they've decided this thing is real.
Voice AI in India is one of those new categories, and Bolna is one of the companies defining it. But a good product isn't enough on its own. The market has to gather, talk, and convince itself this is the future. Someone has to make that happen, on purpose.
That's this role.
We're looking for someone to own how Bolna shows up in the real world: the events we run, the partners we build with, and the community we gather around voice AI in India. This is a 0 to 1 function. We've done a few things, but there's no machine yet. You'll build it.
What You'll Do
- Own Bolna's events end to end. You'll own the thing that nobody sees but everybody feels: the speaker lineup, the run of show, the venue, the budget, the vendors, the day-of logistics that decide whether people leave saying "that was worth it" or "that was fine."
- Build the partnership motion. Bolna sits in an ecosystem: model providers, infra companies, fintechs, accelerators, communities. Some of these partners open doors to customers. Some give us reach. Some make the product better. You'll figure out which partnerships are worth our time, run the outreach, and turn a handshake into something that actually ships (a co-hosted event, a joint launch, a referral loop).
- Grow the community. Right now there's a loose set of people who care about voice AI in India. Builders, founders, operators. Your job is to turn that into something real: a group that shows up, talks to each other, and thinks of Bolna as the center of it. Online and offline. You'll decide what that looks like.
- Run sponsorships like investments, not line items. We get asked to sponsor things constantly. Most aren't worth it. You'll be the person who knows the difference, who decides which conferences and communities are worth a booth and a budget, and who makes sure that when we do show up, it pays off.
- Make every event measurable. A great event that drives nothing is an expensive party. You'll track what these things actually produce: pipeline, partnerships, hires, the right people in the room. You'll learn from what worked, kill what didn't, and get better every time.
- Work directly with the founders and sales team. There's no layer between you and the people closest to customers. The deals, the partner conversations, the speaker asks: you'll be in the middle of them.
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 4 years running events, partnerships, or community at a fast-moving company. B2B, startup, or developer ecosystem experience is a strong plus. We care more that you've actually pulled off real things than which industry you did it in.
- You make things happen. You're the person who, when twelve things need to come together by Friday, just makes them come together. You chase the vendor, you fix the seating, you notice the badge printer is broken before anyone else does. Logistics don't intimidate you. They're the job.
- You're good with people, the real kind of good. You can get a busy founder to say yes to speaking. You can make a partner feel like working with us was the smartest thing they did this quarter. You can read a room and know who needs to meet whom. This isn't networking for its own sake. It's knowing that the right two people in conversation can change everything.
- You stay grounded in numbers. You understand that a packed event is worthless if nothing comes out of it. You track outcomes, you tie spend to results, and you make better calls because of it.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity. There's no playbook here. You'll have to figure out which events matter, which partners are worth it, and how to build a community from nothing. That should excite you, not scare you.
- You care about the technology. Not in a fanboy way. More like: you find it interesting that a voice agent can now handle a collections call better than a human can, and you can hold a real conversation with a developer about what they're building.
Who Will Thrive Here
- You've probably run events before and felt like a logistics machine, executing someone else's plan with no say in why it mattered. You've wanted to own the strategy, not just the spreadsheet. You've watched partnerships get signed and then die because nobody owned what happened next.
- This is the role where you own all of it.
- You'll thrive here if you get energy from a room full of the right people. If you think a good dinner is a business tool. If you've ever stood at the back of an event you ran, watched two strangers exchange numbers, and felt like that was the whole point.
- If you need a big team, a fixed brief, and a lot of structure before you can move, this isn't the right fit. There's real work to be done from day one, and the person who does it best will find that energising rather than intimidating.
Why Join Bolna
- Real traction, early stage. We have enterprise customers running real workflows on Bolna today. That means there's a real story to bring people into, right now.
- Massive leverage. You're in the founding team. The events, partners, and community you build here compound.
- You'll see the impact. When an event you ran fills the pipeline, you'll know. When a partnership you built opens a new market, you'll see it. The feedback loop here is short.
- Competitive pay and meaningful ESOPs from the start.
- Location: Bolna is based in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, in-office role.
