What will you do?
bloomon wants to deliver beautiful and fresh bunches of flowers to its customers every week. As an intaker, you are responsible for providing our production team with the right flowers at the right time. You are the link between our purchasing team, the suppliers, and the team on the production floor. You will work closely together with the intake supervisor and the quality controllers. There is a small team to support with the process during the intake. Specifically, in this role, you will:
You will be responsible for:
- Handle the inbound flow of fresh flowers together with the rest of the Intake team
- Divide and check the type of flower coming in, making sure that we know what’s in-house
- Physically dividing the flower stems to the right design in the cold store, to make them ready for production
- When needed pick up flowers at growers or the auction to make sure we can start production on time.
You
- Fluent in English (Dutch and Polish are a bonus)
- Flexibility with working hours
- Ability to work under pressure and are detail-oriented
- A reliable team player
- Arithmetics (counting) is no issue for you
- You are available on a full-time basis (Shifts are 05.00- 13.30 - 4 days, 32 hours is also possible with Monday being obligatory).
- Experience working in the flower industry
- Experience in Excel/Google sheets
- You have a driving license
