Supply Chain Internship
Blank Street
About Us
At Blank Street, we believe that rituals matter, and that great rituals make your life better. With coffee shops across the US and UK, we are working to transform the high street grab-and-go coffee transaction into an experience that is higher in quality, hospitality, and joy.
What’s Brewing…
We’re offering a unique opportunity for a current field team member to join the HQ Supply Chain team as a Supply Chain Intern for 10 weeks! In this role, you’ll serve as the essential bridge between our cafés and HQ – improving communication, solving problems, and ensuring alignment across teams. If you’re curious about how products move from suppliers to stores, love solving puzzles, and want to make a direct impact on operations, this internship is for you.
Our Values
- Magic is in the Details: We value attention to detail in everything we do. We're always thinking about the small things that make a moment meaningful.
- Move as One: We value people who strive to be the best team player, not individual stars.
- “My Home is your Home”: We look for individuals who treat others the same way they'd treat a guest in their home. We care about presentation, hospitality, and having fun even when things are stressful.
What You’ll Own:
- Field & Supplier Issue Management - Act as a connector between cafés and HQ – help resolve delivery issues, escalate supplier concerns, and share on-the-ground insights with the supply chain team.
- ERP & Tools Support - Become a go-to resource for Coupa and NetSuite. Help build helpful tools, training materials, and documentation for both the field and HQ teams.
- Project Collaboration - Contribute to cross-functional projects – gather feedback, conduct research, build presentations, and bring thoughtful, creative ideas to the table.
- Process Improvement - Identify and suggest ways to streamline supply chain processes, giving real-time feedback on how HQ decisions impact store operations.
- SKU & Product Launch Support - Help roll out new products and SKUs, especially for seasonal menu changes – coordinating with GMs, vendors, and supply chain partners.
- Knowledge Building - Create a documentation library of supply chain best practices, including how-tos, key contacts, and order issue protocols.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program (all majors welcome — business, supply chain, operations, or hospitality a plus)
- Strong communication skills — clear and confident when working with different stakeholders
- Proactive and solutions-oriented — excited to jump in and troubleshoot problems
- Detail-oriented with a love for process, organization, and efficiency
- Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
- Curious about how products move through supply chains and reach customers
- Able to commute to our NYC HQ office throughout the internship
Why This Role is Special:
- Gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, logistics, and cross-functional project work
- Learn the ins and outs of sourcing, vendor relations, inventory systems, and operations
- Build career-ready skills in communication, systems, and process improvement
- Contribute to real projects that make an impact on our cafés and customer experience
- Work alongside a passionate, dynamic, and welcoming team in a fast-growing company
