About Blank Street
At Blank Street, we believe that rituals matter and that great rituals make your life better. With 80+ coffee shops across the US and UK, we are working to transform the high street grab-and-go coffee transaction into an experience that is higher in quality, hospitality, and joy.
About the Role
As a member of our Store Delivery & Expansion team, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage all statutory compliance and safety checks, waste and sustainability management, pest control and maintenance ticket allocation across the UK estate.
You will be on the front line, ensuring our business continues to operate safely and responsibly.
This is an opportunity to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary!
Our Values
- Magic is in the Details: We value attention to detail in everything we do. We're always thinking about the small things that make a moment meaningful.
- Move as One: We value people who strive to be the best team player, not individual stars.
- “My Home is your Home”: We look for individuals who treat others the same way they'd treat a guest in their home. We care about presentation, hospitality, and having fun even when things are stressful.
What You'll Own
- Keep Us Safe: Coordinate essential safety checks like fire, electrical, and gas to ensure our spaces are up to code.
- Be a Green Leader: Manage our waste & recycling efforts and discover ways to boost our sustainability.
- Save Energy, Save the Planet: Oversee energy efficiency and utilities, and help us cut down on CO2 emissions and energy use.
- New Site Setup: Register new locations with authorities, energy, and utility providers—it’s all about starting strong!
- Plan for the Future: Manage preventative maintenance schedules for stores and key equipment to keep everything running like clockwork.
- Deliver Data That Matters: Share clear, concise reports and insights on all the above to help drive decisions.
- Safety First: Support the creation of risk assessments for new sites.
- Coordinating Contractors: Managing and coordinating the third-party contractors, such as cleaning, pest and services.
- Packaging Reporting: Coordinate our responsibilities around extended packaging reporting.
- Team Player Extraordinaire: Work closely with our Expansion & Store Manager and Director, providing support where needed.
