Strategy Associate - Retail Experience | UK
Blank Street
About Us
At Blank Street, we believe that rituals matter and that great rituals make your life better. With coffee shops across the US and UK, we are working to transform the high street grab-and-go coffee transaction into an experience that is higher in quality, hospitality, and joy.
Our Values
- Magic is in the Details: We value attention to detail in everything we do. We're always thinking about the small things that make a moment meaningful.
- Move as One: We value people who strive to be the best team player, not individual stars.
- “My Home is your Home” Hospitality: We look for individuals who treat others the same way they'd treat a guest in their home. We care about presentation, hospitality, and having fun even when things are stressful.
What’s Brewing…
As our Product Associate - Retail Experience your primary goal is to enhance the quality, accuracy, and speed of our key retail and product initiatives. You will be sitting at the intersection of our strategy (Creative, Product, Retail) and execution teams (Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain).
We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally organised—you can dive into the details of every function you interact with, bring clarity out of chaos, and communicate clearly and promptly. Equally important is an individual with a strong product mindset - you deeply understand our customer, have a clear understanding of our brand goals, and can navigate within the practical limits of execution to achieve what’s possible.
This role has two core functions:
- serve as the go-to-market project manager for new retail and product launches, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery; and
- contribute to the ideation and design of innovative retail experiences, driving transformative solutions that propel Blank Street forward.
What You’ll Own
Set the Pace
- Lead the planning and execution for all of our retail initiatives and product launches, collaborating closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations, globally, to align all business and brand objectives.
- This includes effecting all retail elements of any product launches, retail initiatives and any other cross-functional initiatives. This is from planning to execution, and following implementation.
- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines amongst all departments to deliver results on time and within scope for all retail/product launches.
- Prepare and present clear, impactful updates and project plans to senior leadership regarding retail/product implementation and current product optimisation strategies.
Simplify
- Identify and promote best practices in project management across the business, packaging and sharing insights to foster alignment and stronger cross-collaboration amongst stakeholders.
- Closely examine all processes that contribute to retail/product launches from HQ to our field teams, and simplify them, reducing time and/or cost.
Gather Insights
- Analyse retail/product data to help inform decisions when needed (across Supply Chain, Marketing, or any other team).
- Preparing and synthesising customer survey data, sales data and supporting research for marketing teams.
- Prepare insightful reports and recommendations to inform leadership decisions on upcoming product/retail launches, product/retail changes, and general product/retail insights.
Innovate
- Kick-start and collaborate on ideation and conceptualisation of our retail innovation - identifying areas for growth and improvement in our retail spaces!
- Play a key role in achieving buy-in to implementing our retail innovation, including preparing insightful presentations to provide to key stakeholders.
- Support on driving and implementing these transformative initiatives to elevate our retail operations.
