Welcome to the Agentic Commerce Era

At Commerce, our mission is to empower businesses to innovate, grow, and thrive with our open, AI-driven commerce ecosystem. As the parent company of BigCommerce, Feedonomics, and Makeswift, we connect the tools and systems that power growth, enabling businesses to unlock the full potential of their data, deliver seamless and personalized experiences across every channel, and adapt swiftly to an ever-changing market. Simply said, we help businesses confidently solve complex commerce challenges so they can build smarter, adapt faster, and grow on their own terms. If you want to be part of a team of bold builders, sharp thinkers, and technical trailblazers, working together to shape the future of commerce, this is the place for you.

The objective of this project is to support the rebranding and modernization of our BigCommerce and Feedonomics websites, contribute to ongoing initiatives such as Marketplace and Trials, and execute a comprehensive company rebrand aligned with our strategic vision and market positioning. This includes close collaboration with the design and content teams to implement responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized web pages. For this role you need to be located in Mexico.

What You'll Do:

  • Rebranding and modernization of our BigCommerce and Feedonomics websites.

  • Development and maintenance of components and templates using Tailwind CSS, React.js, Next.js, Turborepo and Contentful.

  • Integrate and extend Makeswift to support no-code page creation and streamline content updates for internal stakeholders.

  • Collaboration with the design and content teams to implement responsive, accessible, and optimized web pages.

  • Contribute to key initiatives such as Marketplace and Trials, supporting ongoing product growth and user engagement.

  • Implement and maintain robust test suites using Playwright, Jest, and Vitest to ensure reliability, quality, and continuous improvement.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Content, Design, CRO, and Marketing in general to ensure alignment and integration of the rebrand across all channels and materials.

  • Participate in agile processes by sharing twice-weekly status updates and contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and team meetings.

    • You're skilled at researching, integrating, and documenting third-party services.

    • You have experience with data modeling in headless CMS platforms like Contentful or Strapi — a strong plus.

    • You bring professional experience with TypeScript and Next.js, and working knowledge of Vercel, Makeswift, or Smartling is highly valued.

  • Development Philosophy:

    • You write testable, maintainable, and high-quality code grounded in modern programming and design principles.
