Partner Marketing Manager - Hybrid

BigCommerce is one of the fastest growing eCommerce platforms in the industry and we’re hiring an innovative, growth-mindset Partner Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing, driving and executing integrated marketing programs with assigned strategic partners.

You will work with some of our top agency services and technology partners to build and execute collaborative marketing efforts, including joint go-to-market and multi-channel marketing plans to achieve mutual goals and objectives. As a primary marketing contact for multiple partners, you will serve as a trusted collaborator and leader advising them how to market for growth.

You will play a key role in our long-term growth strategy of engaging and growing our customers via third-party partner integrations.

The right candidate is an experienced, energetic marketer and team player who manages collaborative marketing campaigns across internal teams and strategic partner stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute joint partner marketing campaigns with partners to obtain new BC customers via lead generation and deal registrations

  • Ideate and jointly plan with a partner’s marketing team to develop and execute agreed upon marketing and communications programs across various available channels (examples: in-app messaging, email, demand gen channels)

  • Establish clear KPIs for each partner and associated partner marketing activities, including lead generation, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact

  • Collaborate with internal marketing subject matter experts for planning, resourcing, optimizing and executing integrated campaigns agreed upon with partners

  • Drive merchant adoption of solutions with revenue impact at the forefront of your programs

  • Execute and optimize marketing strategies and campaigns to meet or exceed success metrics

  • Be a trusted liaison working closely with BigCommerce stakeholders and partner marketing counterparts to align internal teams for success

  • Manage projects and communications internally and with partners to achieve agreed upon success metrics

  • Conduct performance reviews on project completion and as a quarterly readout to analyze the effectiveness of partner marketing efforts and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop scalable marketing assets, campaigns, content and engagement strategy to serve partners

  • Report and analyze metrics to marketing leadership

Who You Are:

  • Experience
    • 5+ years of SaaS software/technology marketing experience, preferably in ecommerce and time focused on enterprise-level partner marketing

    • 3+ years experience in strategic/tactical campaign management and event management to drive awareness and lead / qualified opportunity creation

    • Experienced Marketer with an amazing portfolio of enterprise-level partner campaigns that demonstrate deep understanding of account-based, field, and events marketing, ideally in the social commerce, marketplaces, and or ads space

    • Proven experience on cross-functional teams, creating success and instilling best practices

  • Customer Focused - You have passion for the partner ecosystem, understand profiles of various types of partners and their programmatic requirements, and want to deliver the best experience possible for future and current customers

  • Excellent Communicator - An excellent written/verbal and interpersonal communicator who builds cross functional bridges and success

  • Highly Collaborative - You have a true team mentality (your work requires collaboration with partners in Business Development, Product Marketing, Customer Support and much more) and demonstrated success working cross-functionally in larger organizations, and have the ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal partners

  • Adaptable - You are flexible and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and adjust quickly to the changing need of the business

  • Composed - You have the ability to balance Getting Sh*t Done with humility and sense of humor and know how to execute consistently in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment

  • Ethical - You believe in our mission, share our values and understand that it’s not just about what you get done, but also how you do it

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range (or have the minimum apply to them), but rather, the exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
