About Better Health
Better Health is transforming the $80B home medical supply market by combining education, peer support, coaching, and seamless home delivery to empower people with chronic conditions. Backed by General Catalyst, 8VC, Caffeinated Capital, and CareFirst, we’ve built partnerships with leading payers, providers, and manufacturers and serve members across nearly every state.
We’re scaling fast — and we’re looking for a driven Chief of Staff to help us strengthen our operating system and keep us laser-focused on what matters most.
About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, fast-moving MBA grad to work directly with the CEO and executive team as our Chief of Staff. This role is a high-trust, high-impact seat at the table — ideal for someone who is highly organized, has proven experience tracking and reporting on key metrics,, is a self-starter, and is focused on clear communication, excellence and execution.
You’ll help us run our company operating system: managing OKRs, leading cross-functional check-ins, surfacing bottlenecks, and making sure we’re focused on outcomes, not just activity. You’ll also identify gaps, run strategic projects, and act as a force multiplier to the CEO.
What You’ll Do
Run our OKR system: lead weekly red/yellow/green reviews in Executive Team meetings, track updates, and ensure accountability
Meet regularly with department heads to understand goals, surface challenges, and help unblock execution
Own internal operating cadence: planning, tracking, dashboards, executive calendars, and follow-ups
Synthesize team inputs into clear updates for the CEO and ELT; escalate key issues, risks, or decisions
Support cross-functional initiatives that don’t have a clear home but matter for the business
Prepare materials for weekly leadership meetings, board check-ins, and team updates
What You Bring
Recent MBA graduate with 3–6 years of prior work experience (ideally in consulting, project management, operations, VC-backed startups, etc.) with demonstrated project tracking skills
Exceptional organizational and communication skills — you turn chaos into clarity
Strong business judgment and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with OKRs, dashboards, and cross-functional projects
Bias for action — you don’t wait to be told, you just start figuring it out
Bonus: Understanding of the healthcare / healthtech space
Why This Role Matters
This is not a back-office internship. You’ll be in the room for leadership meetings, you’ll influence strategic direction, and you’ll help keep the company moving fast and in sync. It’s a unique opportunity to see how a high-growth healthtech company is built — and to play a key role in making it work.
