General Manager, HCP

Better Health is growing and looking for a General Manager (GM) for our HCP program. As the GM, HCP, you will lead Better Health through partnerships with health systems and providers.
In the past year we’ve scaled our HCP program from 0 to 1, almost 10X-ing the referrals base. Your role would be to build on this strong foundation, and take it to the next level, leveraging data, setting focus, and growing the team of Provider Partnership Managers. Together, you will be responsible for managing relationships with providers and health systems.
We are looking for someone who has worked with providers and health systems as customers, is obsessed with leveraging data to guide focus, and is willing to get their hand dirty - doing whatever it takes to scale the business. In addition to leading others, you will work as a player-coach and drive business yourself. This role reports to a C-level exec, our Head of Partnerships.
What will you do as the General Manager, HCP?
Build and manage a world class team of Provider Partnership Managers, leveraging CRM and sales ops tools to derive data insights and set focus for the team to maximize referrals
Push sales team members to achieve goals by harnessing them with data that focuses them on the right clients with the most opportunities
Act as a player-coach, jumping in right away to learn the ropes of bringing Better Health to provider partners
Manage our sales team hiring process and talent management, as we look to bring on more part-time / contractor Provider Partnership Managers - allowing us to test new markets quickly
How your time will be spent in the first few months:
Hiring and onboarding a team of contractor sales team members (40%)
Analyzing data, building a CRM, and driving team focus (30%)
Talking to providers and selling Better Health yourself (30%)
What do you bring to the table as the General Manager, HCP?
5+ years of healthcare sales experience with direct experience selling to providers and/or health systems
Obsessed with data and track record of developing playbooks to leverage data to grow sales more efficiently
Amazing people manager and goals setter
A player-coach
Track record of achieving and exceeding quotas for yourself and your teams
Experienced in managing a sales team CRM
Comfortable operating in the unknown and balancing multiple projects and responsibilities
Entrepreneurial spirit and creative style that you use to power your own work and encourage others
Bonus: Experience in hiring and managing part-time / contractor sales teams
