Better Health is creating a new medical provider type, disrupting the $80B home medical supply industry. How? By bundling peer support, coaching, education, and home delivery of medical supplies in an end-to-end care solution. We help our members discover and purchase the best medical equipment and supplies to address their underlying chronic conditions.
Since its inception in November 2019, Better Health has gained Medicare licenses in 46 states, 11 Medicaid licenses, and preferred national provider contracts with Oscar Health and Humana. This has allowed our member base to rapidly grow month to month with virtually no churn. With growth, comes new job opportunities! We are hiring a Business Operations Associate to drive cross-functional initiatives across our Operations, Member Success, Billing, and future teams. Our operations team is responsible for identifying, implementing, and driving process improvements across our entire organization.
Not only will you be able to improve our processes, you will also be integral in the design and implementation of our peer mentoring and telemedicine programs. Your work will make a real-life impact on the lives of our members.
So, what will you do as our Business Operations Associate?
The Business Operations Associate will be responsible for maintaining daily business operations, improving operational efficiency, and implementing strategies to optimize business processes. This role requires a strong executor with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support various departments and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all business functions.
Process Improvement: Identify and analyze business processes to streamline operations and enhance performance. Implement process improvements and best practices.
Technology Integration: Work with Product & Engineering and other departments to integrate technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data management.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on operational performance and initiatives.
Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Coordinate with various departments to achieve project milestones.
Cross-functional leader: Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Supply Chain: Collaborate with vendors and external partners to optimize supply chain operations and cost-effective sourcing of DME
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Identify and mitigate operational risks.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations, project/program management, and/or consulting experience. Experience in digital healthcare is a plus.
