Better Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Programs Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in the successful deployment of our comprehensive care programs for patients with chronic conditions.

The Care Programs Associate is a critical position for the day-to-day operations of Better Health’s Care Programs and will help ensure the operational success of Peer Support programming. The preferred applicant for this role must have a passion for innovating within healthcare, a curiosity to dig deep, resilience to push through to the end of a project, and technical aptitude.

The pay range for this role will be between $50k-65k, depending on candidate experience and qualifications.

Better Health is a new type of medical provider, helping people with chronic conditions live and age at home. How? By bundling peer support, education, and home delivery of medical supplies in an end-to-end digital care solution. We help our members discover and purchase the best medical equipment and supplies to address their underlying chronic conditions and receive the education and support they need to thrive at home.

Since our inception in November 2019, Better Health has gained Medicare licenses in 46 states, 16 Medicaid licenses, and preferred national provider contracts with leading payers, including Oscar Health Humana, and Cigna. Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operations: Drive KPIs and day-to-day execution to drive the program forward, such as coach scheduling and availability, appointment management, and live troubleshooting of tickets and routing of questions
  • Administration: Maintain and develop KPI reporting, support monthly reporting, and deliver accurate and timely invoicing
  • Data analysis and process-development: Drive continuous improvement by developing new processes, build reports, and analyze and work with data in a multi-application environment to drive program strategy forward
  • Cross-functional, patient-focused team player: Learn deeply about the conditions we serve, enabling you to be an expert between various teams’ workflows and common patient issues.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in clinical operations and/or healthcare startup experience
  • 1-3 years of managing projects end to end to achieve goals and drive toward outcomes
  • Ability to think strategically with a balanced analytical and creative approach
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, comfortable influencing without direct authority to meet shared objectives/goals cross-functionally
  • Ability to use data to make recommendations and get to the best answer/outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal specific direction and meet the intended outcomes
