Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail - and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie.
Beauty Pie is looking for a Senior UX Designer to shape the future of our web and native App (iOS) experiences. This is a high-impact role with a wide remit across platforms, giving you the opportunity to create intuitive, beautiful, and brand-forward digital experiences that millions of customers love.
Working hand-in-hand with product, engineering, data, and marketing to design journeys that keep our members engaged, delighted, and coming back. We move at scale-up speed, so you’ll need to combine UX best practice with pragmatism- shipping thoughtful, high-quality design solutions without getting stuck in "by the book" process.
If you’re a hands-on collaborative designer with an exceptional eye for detail, strong stakeholder skills, and a desire to bring a brand to life through digital experiences, this is your chance to make a big mark.
So, what will you be doing?
- Lead design across web & native app: Deliver end-to-end UX and UI for features that drive customer engagement, product discovery, and retention.
- Champion the customer: Use customer insights, behavioural data, and research to shape decisions and create intuitive, high-performing experiences. We expect you to lean on your past experience.
- Balance craft with speed: Apply best-in-class UX design while making smart trade-offs to keep momentum high and ship impactful work quickly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and CRM to deliver seamless, customer-first journeys.
- Elevate our design practice: Set a high bar for craft and detail, ensuring every touchpoint feels cohesive, polished, and on-brand. Collaborate with other designers in the team.
- Bring the brand to life: Translate Beauty Pie’s unique voice and aesthetic into digital experiences that achieve our business goals, feel inspiring and distinctly “us.”
- Test, learn, iterate: Use data, experimentation, and feedback loops to validate ideas and continuously improve.

- Cross-platform track record: You’ve designed and shipped both web and native mobile features, ideally in a B2C or D2C environment.
- Design excellence: A keen eye for detail and strong visual design skills, paired with the ability to make complex flows feel simple and intuitive.
- Data-savvy: Comfortable working with data and insights to guide decisions, and experienced in customer research methods.
- Collaborative mindset: Skilled at stakeholder management, influencing across teams, and thriving in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.
- Research capability: Comfortable running your own user research when needed, with a focus on the most critical questions that unlock progress.
- Experimentation mindset: Hands-on experience designing, running, and learning from research and experimentation, not just in theory but in practice.
- Can-do attitude: Positive, proactive, and adaptable - excited to roll up your sleeves and make things happen in a scale-up setting.
- Brand-aware: Motivated to deeply understand the Beauty Pie brand and translate it into standout member experiences.

We operate on a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days in the office each week— with some roles requiring more which will be outlined in the job spec.
