Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail - and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie.
So, what will you be doing?
- Reporting to the CMO, you will lead Beauty Pie’s customer acquisition strategy with a primary focus on paid performance marketing, ensuring alignment with growth objectives
- Lead the optimisation of global performance marketing activities to improve return on investment and provide the business with a competitive advantage
- Oversee paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google and TikTok, as well as performance-driven campaigns on channels like linear TV, VOD and OOH
- Optimise customer acquisition funnels to maximise efficiency and ROAS and minimise CAC (considering the unique positioning of Beauty Pie as both a DTC beauty brand that doesn’t require membership, and a high-LTV membership business)
- Partner with creative teams to develop compelling ad content and test variations for performance
- Collaborate with the Lifecycle Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of acquisition campaigns into the customer journey
- Leverage data and analytics to continuously optimise campaign performance
- Partner closely with the Ecommerce, ProdEng and Engineering teams to create strong, holistic journeys from off-site to on-site to drive strong conversion
- Build and manage a team of performance marketers
- Embed a performance mindset in the team to create efficient plans, based on data,
- customer needs and channel optimisation
- Be willing and able to potentially occasionally manage ad-hoc campaigns directly for channels that are used infrequently and don’t require full-time team members (eg TV)
- Create a clear test and learn strategy, including continuously analysing data to make informed decisions and iterations, as well as identifying areas for improvement and growth
- Strike a balance between short-term tactics and long-term strategy to achieve commercial targets in relation to customers replenishing existing products and buying into new products and categories
- Provide performance support to the Comms team where needed, with affiliate marketing having dotted-line reporting into you
- Deeply understand our audience and customer demographics to find opportunities for customer and member acquisition
- Add meaningful improvements to current processes and technology and identify and implement tools to boost productivity and efficiency, including emerging advertising technologies and platforms, particularly leveraging AI where relevant
- Help build an effective multi-touch digital attribution for the business
- Regularly report on performance, trends and opportunities to senior leadership and the broader marketing team

- A highly analytical, ambitious, energetic and proactive marketer, looking for the opportunity to make your mark and achieve something remarkable
- Extensive experience in performance marketing and customer acquisition roles in digital-first businesses, including DTC
- Demonstrated success in scaling acquisition efforts in high-growth environments
- Direct expertise in managing paid media channels and using tools like Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager and TVSquared
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in platforms like Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker and Lightdash
- Strong understanding and experience with the use of creative assets and copy to connect with audiences to drive performance
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and optimisation principles
- Exceptional organisational skills, with experience managing budgets and prioritising tasks
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to both think strategically and execute at a tactical level
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
