We’re Beauty Pie. We’re the world’s first luxury beauty and wellness buyers’ club. And we’re disrupting the beauty industry, one face cream at a time.

Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail - and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Reporting to the Copy Director, you’ll write and edit compelling copy tailored for ecommerce platforms, including the DTC website, app, organic social channels and performance marketing ads
  • Overseeing the stories and copy for engaging email marketing newsletters and automated triggered flows (like replenishment comms, abandoned basket, etc.)
  • Being a guardian for the brand tone of voice, evolving and refining what we say across all touchpoints and ensuring a seamless, consistent and culturally-aware tone of voice
  • Contributing to cross-channel creative ideation/campaign development
  • Working with designers to translate briefs and brand strategies into compelling concepts and copy
  • Bringing your technical knowledge of successful commercial copy to everything your write
  • Evaluating all brand copy through the lens of wider business objectives
  • Using your broad experience of the beauty industry to ensure our copy is industry-leading
  • Participating in the review of creative outputs and the capturing of updates
  • Elevating every asset you touch with up-to-date knowledge of best-in-class copy across each channel
  • Being ruthless when it comes to editing, grammar, and proofreading techniques.

  • Proactive, ambitious and energetic writer, looking for the opportunity to make your mark and achieve something remarkable
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial copywriting, including for beauty brands
  • Proven ability to write for ecommerce brands, DTC preferred
  • Passionate about beauty, skincare and ingredients
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Creativity and ability to generate original, impactful content
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to assess content performance
  • Strong understanding of using ChatGPT prompts to maximise time and efficiency
  • Knowledge of A/B testing for marketing copy effectiveness
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, flexible and able to prioritise workload
  • Startup experience is a bonus

We operate on a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days in the office each week— with some roles requiring more which will be outlined in the job spec.
