Description of the role

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop a comprehensive product marketing strategy that aligns with Beauty Pie’s vision and business objectives. Collaborate with the NPD team to create a product roadmap that meets market demands.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitors. Use these insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Product Positioning: Develop clear and compelling product positioning and value propositions for our beauty products. Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all product marketing materials.
  • Product Launches: Lead product launches from start to finish, including creating go-to-market plans, marketing collateral, and coordinating cross-functional teams for a successful launch.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including product descriptions, packaging, and product photography, ensuring they align with the brand’s image and appeal to our target audience.
  • Category management: Optimize the category assortment by analyzing category performance, identifying gaps and opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to enhance the product portfolio and sustain healthy category performance
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our product lines, explore new markets, and target new customer segments.

Requirements

  • Experience in the Beauty industry is essential, ideally Makeup or Skincare.
  • Extensive and proven experience in Global Marketing, including product strategy and concepting
  • Experience within a founder led business or a top beauty brand is a plus.
  • Passionate storyteller who can bring ideas to life with confidence, balancing aesthetic and data excellence .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Insight driven decision making – balancing art with commerce. Must be proficient in combining quantitative and qualitative data to form strategies and influence decision making.
