Description of the role

It's not very often you get an opportunity like this: we'll be asking for your experience, guidance, can do attitude, teamwork, recommendations and camaraderie, Beauty Pie currently has a fully outsourced model for the manufacturing of all of our products and input materials. Our Supply base is spread over twenty five countries across three continents. We operate a full service model with our partners.

You'll be a key member of the Global Supplier Relationship and Pack Management team at Beauty Pie. Using our business Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as your north star, you'll collaborate closely with NPD, Finance, Procurement, Technical, Legal, Quality and the wider Operations team to help deliver a best in class supply chain in line with our SRM Operating Model.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Developing a supply chain strategy for assigned categories that drives consolidation into fewer more strategic partnerships ensuring suppliers are fully engaged in the Beauty Pie ambition and business requirements.
• Supporting our SRM Program via relationship building, on-site visits, performance reviews, forecast sharing and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
• Ensuring the right contractual framework is in place for your suppliers to help deliver on priorities and KPIs
• Ensuring ongoing cost competitiveness and driving savings and lead time improvements via data analysis and supplier negotiations
• Driving optimal use of working capital through stockholding and payment terms
• Ensuring suppliers maintain SLA & OTIF and driving resolution when service issues arise
• Working with suppliers to secure short.mid and long term capacity creation in line with business growth
• Mapping supply chains and where appropriate ensuring strategic inventory holding is in place to ensure we never miss and order.
• Working closely with NPD , Technical and Quality to ensure proposed new suppliers are fit for purpose with regards to our business requirements and supply chain design and are properly vetted as part of our vendor onboarding and supplier risk assessment process
• Working with suppliers to help drive us forward against our ESG and sustainability goals

Requirements

• Proven global sourcing, procurement, due diligence and SRM best practice experience is essential
• A proven track record of cost reduction delivery via negotiation, supply base consolidation, Value Engineering etc
• Experience of the global external manufacturing marketplace for cosmetics preferably in colour cosmetics, fragrances and accessories
• Experience working within the beauty, accessories, and/or apparel industries is highly desirable
• The gravitas to work with and Influence across all levels of the internal and external supplier organizations with the skills with an ability to form an argument and persuade others
• The ability to see the bigger picture outside of the immediate responsibilities of the role.
• Business, legal and financial acumen with a strategic growth mindset
• A solid understanding of audit, technical, regulatory finance, CSR & ESG in the context of suppliers
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously but also engage regularly within a team environment
• A second language would be preferable with French and/or Italian adding real value.
• MCIPS graduation is a plus.
