The Opportunity
We are looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager to run acquisition migrations end-to-end as Beacon standardizes each newly acquired company onto a common GTM stack. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who runs several projects at once against a hard deadline, keeps a lot of moving parts coordinated, and raises the bar on the quality of work around them.
Beacon acquires roughly one software company per week which is then integrated into our standardized GTM stack. This role partners with newly acquired companies starting from the first discovery call, through CRM and Support Ticketing builds, until systems are fully rolled out. This role coordinates internal resources and ensures the portfolio company is trained on the tech stack while adhering to an SLA and making the process more repeatable with every acquisition.
This role is responsible for running the project, meaning holding the timeline, managing the stakeholders, directing the build resources, and making sure what ships is right. This role will be partnered with a technical RevOps resource to help with deeper technical support, but this role will be responsible for speaking to the toolset at a high-level.
What you would own
Migration delivery. Acquisition migrations against our SLA, owned end to end: scoping, project planning, sequencing the CRM and Support Ticketing builds, coordinating data migration, and making sure the team is trained and confident at go-live. You would lead discovery calls to assess their current stack and map it to Beacon's standards, hold the plan and the timeline across several concurrent migrations, manage dependencies and risks before they become slips, and own the status.
Contractor direction and quality. You would direct the work of pooled implementation contractors assigned to your migrations, pull in technical support when a problem genuinely needs it, make day-to-day scope and sequencing calls within the documented playbook, and escalate only genuine exceptions.
Delivery process. Improving the migration playbook as you run against it — tightening the plan, the checklists, and the handoffs so each acquisition goes faster and more predictably than the last.
Who you are
You have 3–5 years project or program management, running implementation, migration or change management projects — ideally in B2B SaaS, professional services, or consulting. You ideally have managed multiple projects concurrently against firm deadlines..
You are literate in Go-To-Market systems. You understand how a CRM and a support platform are put together and can scope a build, and hold a credible conversation with a founder about their GTM tech stack.
You have directed the work of others — contractors, an agency pod, or junior admins — even without formal people management.
A confident stakeholder-facing communicator. You’re a people person who can understand hesitant stakeholders and help them feel excited during a period of a lot of change.
Strong judgment under ambiguity. You make defensible calls from a playbook instead of escalating everything, and you know which exceptions genuinely warrant escalation.
A quality bar you set rather than inherit. You care how the build looks six months after go-live, not just at handoff.
Strong written communication. Much of this job is a clear status update landing in the right inbox at the right time
A bias for action. You would rather move something forward than perfect the plan
The agility to adapt when a program changes shape mid-stream, and the confidence to get hands-on when it needs you
Nice to have
Formal project management training or certification (PMP or similar).
Familiar with project management tools (Asana, JIRA, Monday.com).
Hands-on CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, PipeDrive, Zoho, etc.)
Hands-on Support experience (Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, etc.)
M&A exposure, particularly post-close systems consolidation.
Familiarity with migration tooling or scripting that moves data faster and more reliably than manual imports allow.
